PHCC
PHCC stands for Portsmouth Harbour Cruising Club and is a boat club based in Portsmouth where members can store their boats on designated mornings, take part in races and join in with club events!
PHCC is a friendly community but not the most tech savvy. Their old site was very outdated web 1.0 technology and was in need of an upgrade. Using knowledge I had learned over the last year of WordPress, I developed PHCC's new site to fit a number of different requirements. Below are some examples
One thing PHCC needed was to modernise their application process, so gone is the paperwork and here is the online application form!
This for has all the relevant questions that PHCC needs to access if someone is fitting for the boat club and fits all the requirements. Applications are automatically sent to and stored on our custom administrators page that is not accessible to users who are not part of the PHCC committee.
Something else PHCC requested was an online database. This was to grant to ability to access records for club members remotely in the event someone needs to be contacted.
This database accepts data via a form that is filled in by a committee member. The site then takes this data and adds it to a database table where the data becomes searchable. This is part of the administrators page.
